Capitol Area Testing Inc. is seeking Senior Electrical Test Technicians to perform electrical inspections and testing on power distribution equipment including low, medium and high voltage power distribution systems in such a manner as to ensure optimal system reliability.
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Specifications. Duties will include testing and maintenance of various equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers and switchgears. Must have the knowledge required to read and understand electrical schematics with ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Minimum Requirements:
High school or technical school graduate and or engineering degree.
Certified as a NETA Test Technician, or equivalent Utility, manufacturer and AVO Training.
Must have a minimum of five (5) or more years of experience in the testing and evaluation of electrical power systems.
Valid Driver's License with an insurable good driving record, required.
